## UK’s Britvic rejects revised takeover proposal from Carlsberg

(Reuters) – British soft drinks maker Britvic rejected a revised, unsolicited, possible cash offer from [Carlsberg](https://tradingherald.com/carlsbergs-poland-unit-could-stop-production-lack-of-co2-threatens-food-industry/) Group as the proposal undervalued the [group](https://tradingherald.com/franklin-resources-has-5-7-adecco-stake-filing/) and its prospects, it said on Friday.

Britvic’s board unanimously [rejected](https://tradingherald.com/uks-crest-nicholson-says-bellways-revised-proposal-undervalues-group/) a 1,250 pence-per-share second proposal on June 17, it added.
